Our Practice
A patient-first orthodontic practice that is rooted in community, driven by excellence, and dedicated to transforming smiles.
More Than an Orthodontic Practice
Boller Orthodontic Arts was founded on a simple belief: everyone deserves a smile they love. As a female-owned, true private practice, we operate without the corporate structure that has become common in orthodontics today. That means no revolving door of providers, no patients treated like numbers, and no shortcuts. Just personalized care from a doctor who is genuinely invested in your outcome.
Dr. Boller is a proud hometown native and Lake Central High School graduate who returned to Northwest Indiana to give back to the community that shaped her. Her unique background in Studio Art and her training at some of the country’s leading institutions inform everything about the way she practices, bringing both clinical precision and an artist’s eye to every smile she creates.
Today, we serve patients of all ages across two convenient locations in Crown Point and Dyer, Indiana. Whether you’re a child getting your first evaluation, a teen exploring your options, or an adult ready for a transformation, we’re here for every step of your smile journey.

Passionate About Transforming Lives Through Smiles
Dr. Boller’s journey in orthodontics began right here in Northwest Indiana. As a proud graduate of Lake Central High School, she has deep roots in this community. That connection to home is the foundation of everything she does.
Dr. Boller pursued her undergraduate studies at Indiana University, where she majored in Studio Art, a passion that would later shape her whole approach to orthodontics. Her academic path took an unexpected turn when she was accepted into Indiana University School of Dentistry before completing her degree, a rare opportunity that reflected her exceptional academic record and commitment to her calling. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before completing her orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota, ultimately returning to Indiana with a singular mission: to bring world-class orthodontic care to the community she loves.
Dr. Boller combines clinical precision with an artistic eye. She understands that orthodontics is about more than straight teeth. It’s about enhancing the overall harmony of the face, improving function, and building the kind of confidence that transforms lives.
Dr. Boller’s practice is built on a simple but increasingly rare principle: every patient deserves to be treated as an individual, not a number. As a true private practice, Boller Orthodontic Arts operates without the corporate structure that has become common in the industry, which means Dr. Boller is personally invested in every smile she treats, from the first consultation to the final result.
Dr. Boller has created an environment that feels welcoming, safe, and empowering for patients of all backgrounds. Her team reflects her values: warm, professional, and genuinely invested in each patient’s journey.
Her commitment to care extends well beyond Northwest Indiana. Dr. Boller has served on medical mission trips to Honduras, providing care to underserved children who would otherwise have no access to treatment. That same spirit of service shaped her time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago Craniofacial Center, where she trained the next generation of specialists. She has also lectured and co-authored a published article on the efficient management of hemifacial microsomia, contributing to the broader field of craniofacial care.
Outside the office, Dr. Boller is deeply involved in the local community. She supports local arts initiatives and believes in giving back to the region that has given so much to her family. In fact, one of her offices is located in the very building that once housed South Shore Arts, a beloved local art studio where her nephew took pottery lessons as a child. The connection runs even deeper: her high school art teachers were affiliated with South Shore Arts, and it was their belief in her that led to the scholarships she was awarded to study Studio Art at Indiana University.
"Enhancing faces, not just braces. That's my promise to every patient who walks through our doors."
